A bit about Carter and Carter …

To The Moon And Back is the brand new album from hitmakers

Carter & Carter recently named the Independent Australian Country Music Artists of the Decade.

From their debut chart single You Were There in 2000, the list of achievements, awards and accolades has been both imposing and constant.

With six albums and a DVD now to their career credit, major awards include a Golden Guitar for Candlelight And Kisses, APRA Most Performed Country Work Award for Lead Me Home, the CMAA Industry Achiever Award for Independent Entertainer of the Year for three consecutive years, 10 Australian Independent Country Music Awards, multiple TSA Songwriting, ACMLA People’s Choice and Victorian Country Music Awards.

To date they have nine national #1 country music hits, as well as ten other Top 10 hits – certainly an impressive chart history.

Their new album ‘To The Moon And Back’ looks set to continue this ride with 12 new stories, 12 new songs told in only the way Carter & Carter can, including the 2012 Golden Guitar nominated & National #1 hit ‘Dance In The Rain’. Sue Jarvis reviewed the album for Capital News calling it ‘breathtakingly beautiful’ and ‘ with an energy and joy that is almost tangible’.  With songs from the heart and borne of their amazing life experiences of the past few years, To The Moon and Back is a continuation not just of the music, but of the journey of Carter & Carter’s lives in song.

Merelyn and David were caught in the Black Saturday fires in their hometown of Kinglake. They fought the fire and managed to save their home and lives. They sang ‘I Am Australian’ at the National Day of Mourning with Bruce Woodley from the Seekers, a broadcast watched by all Australia, and recorded a Golden Guitar nominated song called Surviving Black Saturday as a tribute to Australians everywhere to say thankyou for all the support the fire effected communities received after the fires from right across Australia .

Mike Rayson – Bio.

Mike Rayson is not your typical Methodist Minister!

As an evangelist and musician, Mike travels around the world each year preaching the gospel and singing of his love for Jesus.  His music has been featured on radio stations across the globe – including Hope 1032 in Sydney Australia, Premier Radio in London, and UCB UK/EUROPE – as well as stations in the United States.

Mike is also well known for his unique style of preaching and storytelling. Noted Churches like the world famous Methodist Central Hall Westminster (UK),  Wesley Mission Sydney (Australia), the Upper Room (Tennessee USA), Union Church (Guatemala), Aberfoyle Park UCA (Australia), LaCroix UMC (Missouri USA), Crossroads Corona (California USA) and Christ Church (Illinois USA) have all featured Mike.  He has also been a featured preacher and musician at conferences such as ECG Wales (UK), AGMF (Australia) and FireUP (USA).

Originally from Australia, Mike now lives and resides in Brighton (Illinois), where he pastors ‘St Paul United Methodist Church’ together with his wife Amy – also a Methodist Minister.  Between them they have 8 children.  Sam, Laura and Oliver (natural children) – Siri (their exchange daughter from Sweden) – and Rose, Yuri, Juana and Quishpy (sponsored children through the ministry of Compassion International).

Mike Rayson is all about communicating the wonderful, life giving and relational gift of grace – poured out on the world by the one who chooses to dance through all creation.  Through Mike, God works healing and wholeness in the lives of ordinary and broken people.
