Our Young Adults Ministry caters particularly for individuals (single or married) from ages 18+, who want to grow in their faith and learn to live their lives for Jesus. With a focus on building community, we encourage young adults to get involved in the life and ministry of the church and to seek out the purpose and plan God has for their life.
State Youth Games
Held annually on the March Long Weekend, the Churches of Christ State Youth Games is open to all youth and young adults 15+. The Games are a great opportunity to have fun and meet youth from other churches within SA. Participants can be involved in a variety of individual and team sports in a fun and encouraging environment.
Life Groups
Chris and James run a regular life group on Wednesday nights for the young adults (kinda 18-25ish, or ‘out of school and working or studying’ types).
There’s a life group on Monday nights in the youth centre for some of the older guys run by Cam.
And there’s a bunch of house-based life groups also operating on other nights of the week.
These are a great way to explore faith, build friendships and catch regular movies! For more information, contact the church office.
Sport
Sport and Music are two key elements in the life of Marion. There are a number of weekend and week night baskteball, footsil and netball teams as well as the dynamic Worship team which contributes to music at Sunday Services and carols on a roster basis. Just another great opportunity to connect with people, explore faith and live life in community.
